William "Bill" Joseph Daniell March 27, 1934 - June 9, 2024 MATTOON - William "Bill" Joseph Daniell, age 90 of Mattoon, IL, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Carriage Crossing in Arcola, IL. A graveside service in his honor will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Dodge Grove Cemetery in Mattoon, IL; Reverend Rachel Moore will officiate. Military Rites will be conducted by Mattoon VFW Post 4325. Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, located at 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL, 61938, is charge of services. Bill was born on March 27, 1934, to the late Robert L. and Roberta M. (Mansfield) Daniell. He married Mary Louise Thurman on May 3, 1958, in Ironton, MO; she preceded him in death on June 9, 1995. He is survived by their two sons, Bruce Daniell and wife Bobbi of Mattoon, IL, Brian Daniell of Mattoon, IL; two daughters: Vicki Daniell of Mattoon, IL, Johnna Megeff and husband Randy of Savoy, IL; seven grandchildren: Chelsea Daniell and significant other Ryan Hall of Humboldt
