David C. Baldwin April 12, 1960 - June 13, 2024 MATTOON - David C. Baldwin, lovingly known as "Toad," passed away on June 13, 2024, in Mattoon, IL, at the age of 64. He was born on April 12, 1960, in Dover, DE. He spent the entirety of his life in Mattoon, IL. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Schilling Funeral Home. An additional visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, with a memorial service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Robert Reynolds and Reverend Richard Faust officiating. Burial will follow at Dodge Grove Cemetery. David had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies. He found solace in playing music, riding his motorcycle, boating, scuba diving, golfing, and spending quality time with his friends.
