Reggie Galey Sept. 1, 1950 - June 29, 2024 CHARLESTON – Reggie Lee Galey, 73, of rural Charleston, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the Harper-Swickard Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral with Military Rites by Paul McVey V.F.W. Post #1592 and its' Auxiliary and Charleston American Legion Post #93 following at 10:30 a.m. at Liberty Cemetery, rural Charleston. Reggie was born September 1, 1950 at Casey, IL, son of Riley E. and Marjorie M. (Townsend) Galey. He was united in marriage to Carol Ann McCullough, October 16, 1981 at Charleston, she survives. Also surviving are her children: Jamey (Mechelle) Cohoon of Charleston and Chris Cohoon of Fayetteville, AR; four grandchildren: Cori Cohoon, Avery Cohoon, Alexa Roberts, and Jenna Cohoon; an aunt, Rosalie Galey of Casey; and a niece, Michela Dill of Casey.
