She was born August 25, 1946, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Silas M. and Maxine (Price) Boyer. Marcella married Gary Cardinal August 8, 1966, in Olney, IL. Mrs. Cardinal was a Housewife, mother and a Book Keeper for Aramark Uniform Services. She loved her faith and was a member of the United Christian Church in Mattoon, IL. She also loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, baking and exercising.
