Marilyn June Hussong September 11, 1931 - July 25, 2024 MATTOON - Marilyn June Hussong, age 92, of Mattoon, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Copper Creek Cottages, in Mattoon. Funeral services honoring her life will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Schilling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Janesville Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Marilyn was born on September 11, 1931, in Cumberland County, the daughter of Hugh M. and Roma (Greeson) Ferguson. She married Norman Hussong on October 5, 1952. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2011. Survivors include her children: Jim (Dianne) Hussong of Neoga, IL, Bob (Marcia) Hussong of Mattoon, IL, and Karen (Gary) Louthan of Mattoon, IL; grandchildren: Ashley (Sarah) Hussong, Andy Hussong, Amanda (Mike) Grant, Cole (Whitney) Hussong, Andrea (Nate) Brettin, Chase (Karissa) Louthan, and Myles (Jessica Carey) Lou
