George W. Gilmore October 29, 1928 - July 24, 2024 ST. JOHNS, FLORIDA - George W. Gilmore, age 95, of St. Johns, Florida passed away on July 24, 2024 at Westminster Woods on Julington Creek in St. Johns, Florida. Funeral services honoring his life will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Schilling Funeral Home. Burial with Military Rites will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. George was born on October 29, 1928 in Lansing Michigan, the son of Clarence and Clara Gilmore. He married Donna Louise Wortman on October 22, 1949. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jenny Downs. Survivors include his daughter, Jeri Gilmore, son David (Kathy), granddaughters, Cara Reinhart (Marshall), Lindsay Wagner (Mack), grandson, Davis Gilmore, and great-grandchildren, Colton and Madeline Reinhart.
