Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home,1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, Ill. 61938 is in charge of services.Don was born on June 19, 1960, in Mattoon, Ill., to the late Betty Lou Farris. He is survived by three sisters, LouAnn McClain, of Neoga, Ill., Julie Vandebogart, of Rock Island, Ill., Pam Baber, of Mattoon; dear friends, Corey Miller and wife, Laura, of Mattoon, Hunter Miller and significant other, Morgan Lambird of Mattoon and Billie Carter of Mattoon, IL. He was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Bush.Don was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Miller Construction in Mattoon for more than 40 years where he formed many strong friendships. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee who became part of the family.
