Janet "Judy" ShuttsJuly 17, 1938 - March 14, 2025Janet "Judy" Joy Shutts, age 86, of Mattoon, IL, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center surrounded by friends and family.Graveside services honoring her life will take place at 1 p.m., on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Beals Cemetery, in Trilla, with Bob Hill officiating. Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family.Judy was born on July 17, 1938, in Johnstown, IL, the daughter of Forrest Perry Brown and Eva Juanita (Zike) Brown. She married Charles Robert Shutts in February of 1964. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2012.Survivors include her daughter, Tina Joy Shutts of Mattoon, IL; grandchildren: Michael Robert (Samantha) Shutts of Marshall, IL, Ava Joy Shutts of Mattoon, IL, and Elizabeth (Doug) Barden of Furlong, PA; and great-grandchildren: Alex, Jadin, Kaylynn, and Makayla.Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband; parents; and siblings: Jerry Brown, Helen Blackley, Rex Brown, Max B
